Gráinne Brady & Ryan Murphy
This brand new Irish duo combine fiddle with uilleann pipes (Irish pipes) and flute, producing a rich, organic set comprised of Irish traditional tunes. Hailing from counties Cavan and Cork, they blend their regional styles to create a robust, distinctly Irish sound.
Ryan Murphy, an All-Ireland Fleadh champion, is a more recent Glasgow resident, having moved over in 2014 to pursue his music career. He is a current member of the successful Scottish group Mànran.
Both playing regularly across Scotland with different Scottish/contemporary bands, the pair decided to perform together as an outlet for the music they grew up playing and listening to.

In 2014 Gráinne and Ryan were delighted to be accepted into Live Music Now, a charity which provides access to live music for people who otherwise might not often get this experience. At the same time, this initiative aims to inspire young musicians by providing them with unique performance opportunities.
